A familiar turn may be temporarily prohibited

The usual left turn is prohibited during this construction arrangement. Read the temporary signs and follow the current route rather than assuming yesterday’s traffic pattern still applies.

A closed turn lane is not the same as a no-turn sign

In the second example, the opposing dedicated lane is closed but the video notes no sign prohibiting that turn from the assigned lane. Read the full arrangement, markings and directions rather than inferring permissions from one blocked lane alone.
