Separate the main failure from the other feedback

The main concern is insufficient checking before and during reversing. The sheet also lists shoulder checks, speed, steering and signals, with encouragement to build confidence. Use all the comments as specific practice tasks.

Finish the 360 check before releasing the brake

After selecting reverse, turn to inspect both rear corners and the surroundings. Only then allow movement. Choosing reverse or glancing in a mirror alone does not establish that the area around the vehicle is clear.

Look directly back and maintain the correct waiting alignment

The camera supplements direct rear observation rather than replacing it. The additional steering discussion notes keeping the vehicle straight while waiting to turn left. Practise these separately, without inferring exact events that are not shown on the sheet.
