Yellow does not guarantee the opposing car will stop

This vehicle reaches yellow too close for a safe stop and continues. A driver waiting to turn left must assess whether oncoming traffic is actually slowing before crossing its path. Use your own safe-stop judgment and remain ready for a conflict rather than assuming yellow clears the turn.
