Yield to oncoming traffic on entry, then line up for the chosen stall. The knee-to-line cue belongs to the demonstration vehicle and seating position; establish suitable reference points for your own car during supervised practice.
The driver signals and shoulder-checks before steering forward into position, then changes the signal, selects reverse and performs a 360 check. Keep the space around the car clear at both stages.
Reverse slowly while alternating direct rear observation with mirrors and surrounding checks. When the line becomes parallel with the car, straighten the steering and ease back to a suitable depth before securing the vehicle.
